Mike Weir MP, Angus (SNP), 16 Brothock Bridge, Arbroath, DD11 1NG

The constituency office address of the MPs is shown above, but it is better to write to your MP at House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA and if you are a member of IPHAS, NAPHR, PHRAA, National Park Home Owners Congress, Park Home Owners Justice Campaign, it would be helpful if you sent a copy of your letter to Mr Savory, Mr Doick, Mr Joyce, Mr Holland and/or Mrs McColl so they are aware that you live in one of the above constituencies and have written to your MP.

The reason for writing follows this report on yesterday's APPG on Mobiles Homes meeting with Rt Hon Grant Shapps MP:
http://middorsetlibdems.org.uk/en/ar...es-legislation

Below is a draft letter that you might write to your MP, if one of the 20 MPs above.

Kind Regards
CC

Draft letter:

Dear Mr / Mrs / Sir Paul

I see from the results of last Thursday's Private Members' Bill ballot that you were successful and would be interested to know what subjects you are considering for your Bill.

As you know, there are sites of park homes in your constituency like mine and you may be aware that many park home owners have been having problems nationwide. Following the recent House of Commons Select Committee Inquiry into park homes and the DCLG consultation on mobile homes announced by the Rt Hon Grant Shapps MP which closes on 28 May, I wonder if park homes is a subject you may be considering for your Private Member's Bill. I imagine it would be quite a popular Bill with many other MPs if it is about park homes! It would receive the support of the Government too according to Mrs Annette Brooke MP, Secretary of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Mobile Homes.

Yours sincerely

We have a 7 year old Omar Weybourne 12' x 42' and are finding the gas central heating very expensive. In very cold weather the floors are cold to walk on and the whole place gets cold very quickly, particularly overnight, if the heating is off. This leads to having to put the heating on a low setting overnight as well as having it on during the day. Does anyone know how the insulation of the underneath of the home can be improved and also how can we get into the roof space to increase the thickness of the roof insulation. Is there a way of improving the wall insulation also as the cupboards are quite cold when opened and the heat loss through the walls must be considerable.
